This product provides relief of nervousness, restlessness, insomnia, and helps treat mild depression. It is used for relief of neuralgia and chronic pain.

Neurosome™ St. John's Wort is a gentle and effective herb that causes fewer side effects than conventional antidepressant medications.

It is standardized to contain 0.3% hypericin and 3% hyperforin, the active ingredients in St. John's Wort. This means that you get the same amount in every capsule taken.

St. John’s Wort (5:1) extract 200 mg (Hypericum perforatum flower) equivalent to 1,000 mg raw herb, standardized to 0.3% hypericin and 3% hyperforin.

Excipients: Cellulose, Dicalcium Phosphate, Modified Cellulose Gum, Vegetable Stearic Acid, Natural Peppermint Flavour, Vegetable Magnesium Stearate, Silica.


Drug Interactions: If you are taking any medications, consult your physician before use. St. John’s wort may interfere with the following: tetracycline, cyclosporin, theophylline, warfarin, digoxin, fluoroquinolone antibiotics, oral contraceptives, protesease inhibitors (i.e. indinavir, saquinavir), irinotecan (cancer drug), anticholinergic drugs, SSRIs, MAO inhibitors and other conventional antidepressant/anti-anxiety drugs.

Warnings and Precautions: Consult a health care practitioner if you experience sleep disturbances; if you are taking any medications such as contraceptives, HIV-1 protease inhibitors, non-nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors, immunosuppressants, anticoagulants, digoxin, theophylline, serotonergic antidepressants, migraine therapies, SSRI’s and/or anti-epilepsy drugs. If symptoms persist, consult a health care practitioner. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet light (UV).

Toxicity, Adverse Reactions and Side Effects: Do not exceed recommended dosage. St. John’s wort may cause constipation, upset stomach, fatigue, dry mouth, and dizziness. If you develop a rash or experience difficulty breathing, discontinue use and seek immediate medical attention.
